Bit by the horse bug at an early age, Tanya and her pony were often spotted galloping trails and jumping anything in their path. Beginning formal training at age 11 she soon discovered her passion for dressage and realized the development of the horse’s body is as important as the development of their mind.
Tanya studied classical dressage for 2 years under Jutta Schott, Reitlehrer FN, riding and learning on as many horses as possible. She began a 2 year apprenticeship at HW Dressage under Lars Holmberg and Ulf Wadeborn, both graduates of Stromsholm Riding Academy. There she rode in daily lessons on a grand prix schoolmaster and worked with horses of all levels. She spent 6 months in Europe preparing young horses for sale. Her interest is in developing happy horses and riders in a safe and positive environment. Her training is based in love and respect for the horse and the art of riding.
