In 1999, Kenn and Lennox spent the year in training with Olympic Gold Medalist Anky van Grunsven and trainer Sjef Jensen in The Netherlands. They then showed successfully throughout Europe and finished sixth in the Grand Prix in Rome, Italy.
Returning to the U.S. in 2000, Kenn and Lennox captured the USDF Region 3 Grand Prix Championship. In 2001, the pair won the USET Grand Prix Freestyle at the Heidelberg Cup in Orlando, Florida with a score of 68.9%. That same year, Kenn and Lennox were invited to perform at the American Invitational in Tampa, Florida.
Kenn was also instrumental in the early training of Peron, an equine member of the 1996 Olympic Bronze medal winning U.S. squad. Kenn trained Peron for six years up through Grand Prix level.
