Elishia, Venice's daughter, started riding at 7 years of age. She showed her 11 hand pony in English, Jumping, Western, Trail classes. She even did Barrel Racing. She did it all until she was about 15, then changed her focus to makeup and hair and is now a licensed cosmetologist, makeup artist. She has already finished her second year studying to be a elementary school teacher. Her desire is to work with children. she has two more years to go. Elishia says she doesn't miss mucking stalls and feeding. !!!! But does miss riding.
Andrew tried riding at 12, didn't fall in love with it. Instead, he played baseball, then basketball, then got into skateboarding, then snow boarding and surfing. He started playing the trumpet at Tomas Rivera, then when on in Woodcrest Christian High School playing drums. He is in his second year at RC College full time. He seems to be following in the footsteps of the Liston/Kronman music legacy. Like his uncle Bill who does arranging of music for major movies like Spiderman 3 , Indiana Jones 4, The Simpson's movie, and many more.(To find out more about Bill Liston go to www.BillListonMusic.com

In Center - Jim Liston - Jims talents are in construction, from blueprints to building a house from the ground up to landscapeing and pools. In fact Jim is the one that designed and builded our entire Ranch from scratch!

Danny (with his Chihuahua Sayde) started riding at 11 yrs of age. He did not participant in any showing, but he did help Venice train and brake young horses. And some wild ones that dad brought home. Danny is now a computer specialist and a personal assistant. Danny probably had the best seat in the family. He pretty much stayed on a horse like glue. The only time I remember him being bucked off, he landed on his feet, and it was a 17.2 hand horse! Danny is ready to get back on and start riding again.
Venice with one of her mounts Segen - Venice has been riding for 20 years. She originally spent 6 years riding hunter/jumper, until she fell in love with dressage. Venice and her family ended up moving to this 3 acre ranch 18 years ago and began building a small boarding and training facility. Venice's husband Jim is a general contractor and co owner of Liston Stables. Jim loves the horses, but doesn't ride, he just enjoys running it and caring for the facility. Venice has raised 6 kids to date, but who's counting! Danny who is the eldest at 29, Sherree at 28, who live on base in Oceanside with her husband. Elishia at 26, Andrew, age 21, Gabriel, age 8, and now our newest addition is Jessica, age 12, who is a big Hannah Montana fan.
JESSICA ABOARD SEGEN - Jessica has been a part of our family since July 08 and she is a joy, she has been taking riding lessons from Heather Spies, riding bow mostly my quarter horse mare, she has done great , right now, she is focusing on school, singing, scrapbooking, playing her guitar.
